Change FDA regulations to prove a product/chemical is SAFE to consume rather than prove it is dangerous.

Created by B.R. on April 07, 2012

Bisphenol-A (BPA) linked to negative effects on the reproductive and nervous systems

rBGH linked to increased levels of Insulin Growth Factor 1, which can lead to breast and colon cancer

The FDA has failed to ban these chemicals and several others in order to serve out its purpose of protection and promotion of public health. The FDA has also refused to lift the lifetime ban on gays to donate blood despite overwhelming proof that HIV/AIDS is not exclusive to homosexuals.

This is a formal request to the Obama Administration to force the FDA to answer to the checks and balances system of other federal agencies fundamental to our Constitution and change their policies to prove new products are safe for consumption prior to release rather than prove they are dangerous after the fact.
