The first past the post method of voting is demonstrably undemocratic, and results in voter disenfranchisement. To encourage more people to participate in the political process, and to acknowledge the advances in technology since the founding of the United States, we request that all federal elections be conducted on an alternative vote.
An alternative vote will allow all Americans to vote their conscience and beliefs without fear of spoiling an election, and provide a more complete and fair picture of our country's many varied ideologies.
