The federal law as of right now is that if a minor(under 18) sends images of themselves in a nude way to ANOTHER MINOR they and the recipient of the photos will have a felony on their hands. This petition is to change that. If a person is a minor and sexts another minor I don't think it should be regarded as against the law. A minor to an adult is a whole different situation and should be considered a crime. A minor to a minor however should not be considered against the law or a felony considering they were both under the age of 18 while doing this. Every teen in high school has either sent or received a nude photo, but do they all deserve to be charged with a felony for it?
