This petition is trying to change federal law so that all people have the right to marry whoever they want. That polygamy as well as same sex marriage will be legal. It is currently illegal under federal law to marry any one who is not a member of the opposite sex. That is oppressive to people who wish to marry the same gender. The same is true for polygamy, people should have the right to marry anyone that they truly love.(outside of their family)
