Change the federal voting age to 21 years of age.

This petition is a call from the people to change the federal voting age to 21 years of age. This call is coming on the grounds that a modern day young adult is not informed on many issues when they reach age 18. As it was in the days of the past, when a person was an adult when they turned 18, because a large percentage of the time, they were having to take care of themselves and possibly a family, this is no longer the case. With the extension of having a child being on their parents' insurance until age 26, this is a proven point. Young adults are, generally, not well informed on politics and legislation issues, and as such, have a high tendency to vote with what their friends or parents are voting for, therefore making their vote unreliable in real political fields.
