Change Flag Day to National Bourbon Day in honor of the anniversary of the first batch of Bourbon distilled 6/14/1789.

Bourbon whiskey, the United States' foremost contribution to spirits and a touchstone of American culture, should be properly celebrated by way of a federal holiday. Like Blues and Jazz, Bourbon whiskey is a uniquely American creation renowned the world over and is as deserving of celebratory recognition by the federal government as anything. I would recommend that this holiday be acknowledged in workplaces and schools nationwide.
