Currently, the flag only represents each state and each of the thirteen colonies. While it could be said it honors those who fought in the American revolution, there are many more who deserve the ultimate sign of respect. For this, I suggest adding a golden border to all sides of the flag and then adding an Eagle in gold to the background of the flag to represent the veterans and our fight for peace and democracy. These suggestions are just suggestions, as anyway to honor veterans in a polite and respectful manner is something that must be done and encouraged.
