Changing the font used on all official US printed materials from Times New Roman to Garamond could save up to $400 million every year on ink alone.

14-year-old student Suvir Mirchandani has discovered this during a classroom exercise on sustainability.

This is a very simple change that would in no way disrupt the day-to-day work of the government, but could lead to significant savings if federal and state governments get on board.
