change the format of the President's press conferences.

Created by B.A. on November 19, 2012

Inasmuch as the press is the medium whereby the American people receive information about the government;

Inasmuch as the President's duty is to answer questions about the government;

Inasmuch as the President ought not limit exposure to questions about the government;

Inasmuch as the President controls the source and number of questions at press briefings;

We petition that the President resolve to change the format of press conferences to:

Give televised quarterly press conferences in prime time
of at least 2 hours in length

That questions be taken at random and followup
questions be allowed
