change the free trade laws. Free trade must be made into Fair trade. Tariffs must be added to foreign products.

The free trade laws must be changed soon in order for our economy to grow. A manufacturer producing products here in the United States has to abide by clean air and clean water laws. There is OSHA, the EPA, wage laws, and many other rules and regulations that are imposed by the government on companies. A company that produces a product in Mexico, China, Vietnam, etc. does not have these same regulations that restrict their production.
So, they can make the products cheaper, and sell them to the United States with no tax. A tax should be added to all products that come in to the United States that are produced in countries that don't match the manufacturing regulations that we have here. The amount of the tax should equal what the extra cost is to manufacture the product here.
