Change golf courses into homeless villages

There are over 15,000 golf courses in the U.S., and the sport is becoming wildly unpopular. Joining with organizations that build tiny houses for the homeless, you have 1.6 million acres to use as land for these tiny house villages. Even if only half of the courses are turned into villages, that still gives us 800,000 acres to use as land. The courses are already maintained and out of the way of most urban areas. On average, $159 billion dollars are spent on golf per year, mainly on resort/tournament fees, the golf bags themselves, and the silly shirts that golfers feel they need to wear. The U.S. federal government is already trying to utilize $4.5 billion dollars to fix the homeless problem. Golf is the solution.
