Black lives are in danger on the streets of America.
Police shootings of unarmed black youth has reached epidemic proportions. We MUST take action NOW.
We cannot assume this problem to be unique to Ferguson Mo. alone. In fact, a less publicized DOJ report on policing in Philadelphia found 59 unarmed people FATALLY shot between 2007 and 2013.
We all saw the massive failure of the grand jury in Ferguson. Five perfectly credible witnesses were impeached behind closed doors and we the people have no confidence that the rights of the deceased were looked after, because the deceased was permitted no defense.
If there is going to be a grand jury hearing, then the deceased should be represented by attorney in the grand jury court room.
