Change is needed in regards to healthcare! Currently Medicaid and Managed Care providers require children to find doctors within their state as part of "Affordable Healthcare" guidelines. This is forcing parents to find new doctors for their medically complex children... This is forcing patients to break long-term relationships with their specialists! This is forcing patients to see doctors that are not able to adequately provide the same care! This is forcing patients conditions to be inadequately managed!
Please make a change that will allow medically complex children to keep their doctors until they are adults! Please allow the doctors that have been treating the children for numerous years to continue to provide the care, regardless of State lines or Managed care insurance companies.
