It's time to change the
gun laws of our country
to make it mandatory that
any individual who wishes
to purchase and own a
firearm has to go through
the same exhaustive,
intensive full-field background
investigation (criminal history
check, credit check,
psychological profiling,
interviews of current/former
employers, interviews of
friends and neighbors, etc)
that a law enforcement officer
or anyone undergoing a
background investigation
for determination of eligibility
or suitability for a high-level
government security clearance
would have to go through
before being granted permission
to have access to classified
information or carry a firearm.
