Across the country there are bans placed on tenants on the breeds of dogs that are allowed in apartment communities. A lot of the breeds listed have had bad histories, but the behavior of these dogs are a result of their environment and lack of training. Responsible dog owners shouldn't have to give up a lifelong companion in order to have a place to live, but it is the case more often than not. The list of banned breeds for insurance companies stands at around 75 breeds, which is insane.
