Change the Imperial system that the United States uses to the Metric System so we are with the rest of the world

We are wanting to change the Imperial System in the United States, to the Metric System. We are wanting to do this since the rest of the world is using the Metric System and we are being the outsides trying to use a system that not very many people in the world use. We would start by educating students on the Metric System. We would start off with the kindergarten classes that are just coming in, since the youth now is so used to the imperial System. We would then over time convert all factories that do not already use Metric to Metric. We would have the Department of Education enforce these new laws. We will pay for it by bringing back jobs from overseas, and have the money we are saving from having ship the jobs over there to pay for it.
