Change job discrimination of people with criminal/ felony arrest records.

Created by M.W. on June 27, 2013

According to a recent survey, 90 percent of companies use criminal background checks in making hiring decisions. Another study found that criminal records restrict as well as reduces the likelihood of a job offer or callback by nearly 50 percent. Considering that 1 & 4 adults in the United States has a arrest conviction record, help change the discrimination of people with criminal/ felony arrest records by giving them opportunities to become productive members in society.Let's start by reforming the hiring practices to reduce negative outcomes of people with criminal/felony arrest records to compete more fairly for employment and allow qualified people with criminal backgrounds to gain access to adequate employment.
