U.S. workers have NO protections against abusive, retaliatory, discriminatory, and unjust actions by employers unless they belong to a “protected class.” Please work to change labor laws to protect ALL workers based on ONE protected class – being human and deserving of fair, just, humane treatment in our workplaces.
I work at Emergency Reporting in Bellingham, WA. IT Manager Steve Stedman has been allowed by management (Adrian Mintz, Dave Adams, David Nokes) to bully and terrorize with impunity and then purge, discipline, or retaliate against those who protest his abuses. U.S. workers have no legal recourse or protections against this kind of management- and legally-sanctioned abuse.
