Change the law allowing congress to only service a maximum of 12 years

My petition would allow members of congress to be elected every two years, but only allow a maximum of 12 years of service. Like the President, VP, and members of the military they can only serve in their position for a certain amount of years, and I think Congress should do the same. By limiting members of congress they might be more willing to accomplish what the American people need, more willing to discuss the big issues and work together to solve those issues. This will also allow for new people to bring new ideas, new ways of doing things to the table. Members that have served past 12 years would be allowed to finish their elected term but would not be allow to seek another term in congress.
