We need to change the law in how a person is charged in killing a K9 Officer. These dogs are treated as an officer of the law, they put themselves in the line of fire to protect the men & women who sever. If they are killed in the line of duty it should be the same as killing a police office and charged as such. In the event that a K9 is sent in there is fair warning giving to come out or surrender. I hope that people start taking this offence more seriously and add harsh punishment accordingly.
