This petition is to change the law regarding the reconization of parentage. This is a document that is signed after a child is born, stating that they are the father. A woman knows that the child is a 100% theirs and a man should be able to have that same right before he signs any document. Many men whether single or married have been stuck paying child support for a child that is not thiers do to woman who have said they are the father. This needs to change, so men's lives and families are not destroyed. I want to see a mandatory DNA test done to protect men and give them the same knowledge a woman has, and a choice regarding whether they take care of a child that isn't theirs or not.
