We need to change the law so that when someone qualifies for Social Security Disability, they should, at the same time, qualify for Medicare. Anyone who qualifies for Social Security Disability has health problems,sometimes numerous, and needs Medical Insurance immediately. During the two year wait to qualify for Medicare, thousands of dollars of health care related bills are piling up for someone who doesn't have health insurance. I know because it happened to my family. So I feel quite sure that it has happened and is happening to families in this great country every day. And it shouldn't. Not in America. We are a wealthy country. We need to use our vast financial resources to take care of our sick. It's the right thing to do. Thank you.
