Change laws allowing employers to run background checks and deny non violent felony offenders jobs

Employers running background checks and denying non violent offenders jobs are creating a never ending cycle of crime and re entry in the prison system. By never giving "Ex-cons" employment they either do one of two things push their family into living off of government assistance like welfare and snap or re commingling offenses to get by. I know a lot of people think if you do the crime you do the time well the offenders go and do the time and come out into a society where they have to remain considered a criminal it's like you never really do the time you have 7 to 10 years before you can work who can really survive that long without employment? In this day and age we should be past the old ways and welcoming these people back in society these people are fathers,sons,mothers,daughters
