Change the Laws pertaining to Arrest records when someone is wrongfully arrested, accused and charges dropped.

Created by K.R. on April 03, 2014

Innocent citizens arrested and later have charges dropped but the arrest record stays unless expunged. In North Carolina you get 1 expungment per life time. When it shouldn't be an arrest record because you are innocent.
Innocent citizens shouldn't suffer for being wrongfully charged or arrested.

On September 24, 2013, Milton Dunlap was wrongfully arrested and charged with 17 felonies. CMPD later dropped all charges and admitted to mistaken identify. Because of this Milton is now having a had time finding employment and having his mug shot all over the internet. Milton went from being an 18 high school graduate looking forward to collage to a young man that can't get a job or move on with his life due to this incident.
