Change the laws regarding child support enforcement in the united states so that unemployed parents aren't incarcerated.

The parents who pay child support are locked in jails when they can't pay.No matter what the reason they're thrown in jail for a matter of weeks.Its clearly visible that the children don't benefit because the children receive no funding during the parents time in jail.Once released,a parent must seek employment after having been in jail.The same parent must then pay lump sum payments it would require at least a month to earn.This builds a debt that cannot be paid.Unless our government in this great united states supports piracy, these laws need to change so that our children aren't robbed of their parents just while nobody makes money in this process except the jail system and stockholders of such.
