Are you tired of seeing polliticians with suits that cost more than your car using your money for vacations and shopping trips? Well, if you give a moose a muffin guess what will happen? Its time to take the muffin from the moose. I propose that elected official's salaries, from local to federal, should be voted upon during normal elections by we the people. Want a real opinion of how well you are serving the people? Let them decide how well you get paid. It is quite frankly a conflict of interest to allow polliticians to vote on their own salaries. Another option would be to simply change the law to state that elected officials are to receive minimum wage. To be a leader of the people you must be OF the people. Money should NEVER be an incentive for leadership. Your response?
