change the legal age of consent in Alabama from 16 to 19 to match the legal age of majority (adulthood).

Created by V.M. on January 01, 2013

If a minor is not considered an adult capable of making responsible decisions for themselves until the age of 19 they should not be able to legally consent to sex at the age of 16. The law should be changed so that the legal age of consent matches the legal age of majority which in the state of Alabama is 19.
