Change the legal age to consume alcohol in the United States of America to 18.

I believe that the United States of America should change their alcohol drinking laws to the age of 18. First and foremost is because when you turn to the age of 18 you are eligible to get drafted into war for the US. If you can get drafted then you should be legally able to drink a beer. Since you legally become an adult at 18 you should be allowed to drink alcohol and be able to go to bars. This would also result in a considerable amount of less taxpayers money wasted on prosecuting legal adults under age for having fake id’s, the polices time etc. Another fact to consider is that in most countries across the world the legal age to consume alcohol is 18, places such as Europe have much less alcohol problems than here in the US. This is all because of how were are introduced to alcohol.
