Change the legal age of possession and consumption of Alcoholic Beer to 18 Years old.

Created by M.M. on February 19, 2013

The legal possession and consumption of alcohol is now 21, and this measure will implement a legal possession and consumption age of 18 years old, for beer containing alcohol. This excludes hard liquor like vodka, spirits, etc. If the Obama administration can make this first step, it would possibly pave the path for legal sale of all kinds of alcohol to people 18 and over. People who are 18 are allowed to vote, sacrifice their life for their country, and can be tried as adults in court. If 18 is considered the "age of the adult", then they should be allowed to consume alcohol. This measure attempts to implement a "soft" compromise, whereas people who are 18 and over can consume and purchase beer only. Please join this petition to send a message!
