In over 50 countries the legal drinking age is at or below 18 years of age, where as in only 12 countries is the drinking age above 18.
For years many have said that we have the law in affect due to the fact that a person's brain does not fully develop until age 25. However, a very large percentage of all DUI accidents occurred in people over the age of 25 in general. Thus debunking the above stated belief.
In Canada, England, France, and Germany (some of the biggest countries with the youngest ages) there are seen frequently less DUI incidents, and less use as well as possession of fake IDs.
Also, teens who grow up with a younger drinking age are seen less and less to pursue the purchase and consumption of alcohol illegally/underage as seen by time in every low age country.
