Here in the united States of America the legal drinking age is 21 years of age. I feel like this is a ridiculous type of age because first of all the age to purchase tobacco is 19 years of age. Tobacco can lead to cancer and even worse defects to your body. Alcohol is deadly also but only if used over the BAC legal limit.
Now into the real facts to join the military I believe the age is 18 years old. We have men and women fighting for this country and risking their own lives and they cant even have a drink or 2? Thats very confusing to me and I feel this should be changed immediately. I feel the drinking age should be 18 but have stricter rights towards it until you turn 21. The stricter rights i see are maybe you will have a limit you can buy or only certain alcoholic beverages.
