Change the legal drinking age to 18.

This petition has been created to change the drinking age to 18. People ages 18 to 21 are the most likely to abuse alcohol, and they do this because it is illegal. If this group of people were allowed to consume alcohol, they would do so more responsibly. They would be able go out and stimulate the economy at local bars and restaurants instead of buying cheap alcohol to simply optimize intoxication levels of large groups. They would no longer view consuming alcohol as a sneaky and daring activity because it would be legal; therefore they would consume it more casually instead of abusing it.
