Society deems a person an adult once he/she turns 18; however, one cannot simply consume alcohol until 21. At 21 I can enlist into the military, purchase tobacco products, and watch R rated movies. The right for an adult to choice should be left to us voters and not the government. I believe the three year gap is absurdly necessary and should be change to reflect the modern times.
