We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

CHANGE THE LEGAL VOTING AGE TO SIXTEEN

Created by K.C. on June 10, 2016

I understand that when you are eighteen, you are an adult and are deemed responsible enough to vote for someone who will change the future of our country. I believe that just because someone is an adult, does not automatically mean that they should be considered responsible and logical enough to vote. I feel that people find it hard to trust young adults to make a thought out decision, and that they'll only vote for someone because everyone else is, or because they're female, or because they're ridiculously amusing, or because they think he's the zodiac killer... But I personally know adults that do the same thing. Just because they are young does not mean they can make a smart decision. This is they're future too. They deserve a day in it.
