througout history especially the middle 20th century there were many civil rights leaders. many doing just as much as Martin luther king jr. Vernon johns, Medgar evers, Rosa parks, James Farmer Jr. just to name a few. but having a holiday named after one of them is disrespecting the others who did just as much, Malcom X also is another. when only one civil rights leader is guaranteed to be remembered its wrong and dishonors the other leaders who faught for the rights of every American black, white native american. please change martin Luther king jr. day to Civil rights awareness day in honr of all those who fought for simple equality of man.
