Change motorcycle laws to insure the safety of children. Make age, height, and weight requirements of passengers.

Four year old Breann Creer lost her life in a very tragic motorcycle accident in Rancho Cucamonga on 8/27/13. This petition was created to ensure no other small child loses their life or gets hurt due to motorcycles.Under current California state laws a child may ride as a passenger on a motorcycle when he/she is no longer required to be in a child restraint and their feet can reach the passenger foot pegs. Even with all possible Safety Measures Taken... Helmet, Boots, Good Jeans, Jacket & Gloves a child is in danger while riding a motorcycle. A young child is not strong enough to properly hold on during breaking and accelerating. Stricter laws need to be made for the safety of our young children. Children need to be both mentally and physically strong enough before riding on a motorcycle.
