In the past few years, Arizona has enacted legislation requiring immigrants to hand over their papers on the demand of racist police; passed laws that unconstitutionally restrict the right to vote against minorities; subjects its inmates to harsh and humiliating treatment at the hands of a loopy sheriff; and has now passed a bill in the legislature that would permit businesses to discriminate against LGBT persons and families freely.
Clearly, the powers that be in Arizona are a bunch of douches.
Therefore, in honor and recognition of their commitment to douchiness, it is only right and fitting that Arizona be renamed State of Douchelandia.
