Change the name of the Central Intelligence Agency to Strategic Homeland Intervention Enforcement and Logistics Division

This petition is hoping to have the name of the C.I.A. be changed to S.H.I.E.L.D. as an organization. For much of its history the C.I.A. has had a bad reputation because of the nebulousness of both its actions and its name, but the change would be a potentially beneficial public relations move due to the fact that the name is associated with a more heroic, almost Marvel-ous, way of doing things. People would be more likely to have ease of mind knowing that there are Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. out there protecting them from the problems of the world, be they alien invaders, magical monsters, Norse gods, crazy scientists with super weapons, an army of robots, or whatever else this crazy world can throw at us.
