change the name of Columbus Day, a national holiday, to Columbo Day (or Lt. Frank Columbo Day).

Created by J.S. on October 13, 2014

Columbus Day is currently a national day of recognition for a man who was an incredible explorer, navigator, enslaver of men and rapist. The biggest vice of Lt. Frank Columbo is that he likes to indulge in a nice cigar. In the scope of history it should be much easier to explain and educate our society about the consequences and destruction of tobacco, than to gloss over the atrocities committed against indigenous peoples over 500 years ago.
