Change the name of the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to the David Foster Wallace International Airport.

Created by S.H. on July 28, 2015

Because David Foster Wallace is probably the preeminent literary voice of the last decade or, we thought it was high time to honor him and his achievements in some way, but not with some normal boring award or literary prize. We’re thinking bigger.

The Dallas Fort Worth airport already has the prescribed letter code DFW, so we wanted to start a groundswell of support to change the name from Dallas/Forth Worth International Airport to the David Foster Wallace International Airport.

Louis Armstrong has an airport, Bob Hope has an airport, John Wayne has an airport, Charles Schulz has an airport, why not David Foster Wallace?
