Squid are a social animal that live and travel in groups. However they do not have a distinct name for a group of them when they're together as many species in the animal kingdom do. Squids are members of the cephalapod family, and are regarded as the most intelligent invertebrates.
For this reason, a group of squid should be known as a squad of squid.
