The Austin (Texas) Independent School District is rightfully considering changing the names of its public schools named from Confederate States of America leaders. It should therefore change the name of John H. Reagan High School in East Austin to Ronald W. Reagan High School to change the name of the high school from that of the Confederate States of America Postmaster General to the 40th President of the United States while keeping the name Reagan and the mascot Raiders for this esteemed high school.
