Throughout America, the month of July coincides with a high tide of patriotic fervor and love for the country as a result of Independence Day, July 4. During this period, Americans across the nation celebrate our inalienable rights and freedoms with a foray of festivities. However, only having one day designated to celebrate our civil liberties simply isn't enough. Therefore, I am petitioning the White House to officially change the name of the month of July in the United States to "Independence", in order to accurately represent the brotherhood we all share as Americans.
