change the name of the US Navy's littoral combat ship LCS-10 from the USS Gabrielle Giffords to the USS Christopher Kyle

Created by T.B. on June 16, 2015

The naming of LCS-10 as the USS Gabrielle Giffords, is politically motivated. Rep. Giffords has no long standing and prominent role in the area of national defense. Her record in the Arizona legislature and national congress provides no reason for having a naval shipped named for her. In short, LCS-10 is named for her because of the tragic event of Jan 8, 2011.

Christopher Kyle was the most lethal sniper in American history and a hero who's actions during Operation Iraqi freedom saved the lives of hundreds of American soldiers. His work with injured soldiers during the last part of his life is inspiring to the entire country.

The USS Christopher Kyle would be a ship that any naval sailor would be proud to serve on.
