I am speaking for all Washingtonians (Washington resident) that the name of our beautiful state is being confused with our nations capital Washington D.C. Whenever I speak to another person online and I proudly say I'm from Washington one question comes from nearly all of them "DC or State?" It is very frustrating and I call on congress to change our states name. The new name may be anything such as Cascadia,North Oregon,Rainier, and many more but I urge you to change the name please.
