I think it's time that the national anthem be changed to something more contemporary and more legendary. A song of hope, and a song that inspires its people to be better than they already are. There is no better song than Smash Mouth's All Star. Francis Scott Key's anthem is indeed one of a kind and has served us well, but the dulcet tones of Steve Harrell's voice and the masterful lyrics are enough to bring a tear to any proud Americans' eyes. Let's come together to support a song that's worthy enough to celebrate this amazing country - the land of the free and the brave and where "only shooting stars break the mold".
