Change The National Anthem To "Hail Columbia"

Created by B.E. on October 22, 2015

We petition to change our national anthem because, it represents our values, and its historical significance.

The values the song provides is liberty and, the protection of our independence. Its shows tribute to our first president George Washington and tribute to people who fought in the name of freedom. It also said "Let independence be our boast,Ever mindful what it cost;Ever grateful for the prize."

The historical significance of the song composition had claims by a musician Johannes Roth and, Professor Phylo. This was called "President March" for George Washington in 1789. The song was adapted by Gilbert Fox and Judge Joseph Hopkinson who wrote it in 1798.

In conclusion we should change our national anthem to "Hail Columbia"
