Let's face it, the National Anthem is boring and overrated. The song is so dated, and what the hell is a rampart anyways? Do we even use them anymore? This is a different country with different attitudes, and we the people feel as if the Anthem should reflect these attitudes. We need an anthem that will bring the masses to their feet (with enthusiasm) and show the world that America the Beautiful knows how to party, and will snatch those shiny plated medals and put them around our necks as The Black Eyed Peas plays triumphantly while athletes from dumb countries like Finland have to stand in silence on a third place podium for the entire three minute and thirty-seven second duration.
