I propose that we change the United States Of America's National Anthem from The Star Spangled Banner by Francis Scott Key to We Built This City by Starship. We Built This City, a 1980s pop-rock "classic" performed by Starship, a later incarnation of arguably one of the most important rock bands of 1960s and 70s (Jefferson Airplane), is a tepid, corporate, tune, lacking any semblance of artistic talent or imagination. It is the perfect anthem for our modern 21st century "democracy" that is ruled by consumerism, commercialism, and oligarchy. If Donald Trump wins the election in November 2016, I can't think of song more appropriate. It is the anthem we as the American people deserve. Besides, The Star Spangled Banner is like old and stuff.
