Change the National anthem, from the 'Star spangled Banner' to 'This land is your land'.

Created by E.T. on March 01, 2013

The National anthem is a song often sung, but not nearly as often understood. Commonly, we only sing the first verse of the Star spangled banner which was written in 1814 and gives glory to the ruin and devastation of war. Surely this song has hardly enough bearing in modern times to keep as our national anthem. 'This Land is your land' outlines a love for the land and people of these united states, and unites us in the beauty of our natural resources and our love for each other. it was written by one of the most beloved sons of the 20th century and is still extremely relevant today.
